Can I search a plate before creating an account?

Yes. Platora offers a limited free check first. An account is required to save a vehicle, activate ongoing monitoring, or manage notices.

Does Platora connect to every DMV?

No. Coverage varies by state and agency. Platora uses permitted public lookup where available and a compliance mailbox for restricted or incomplete areas.

Will AutoPay pay anything automatically?

No. AutoPay is optional and follows the rules you set, including notice types and per-item or monthly limits. Items outside those rules require approval.

What is the AutoPay processing fee?

A small $2–$5 processing fee applies per paid item, depending on the payment method and notice type. The fee is shown before payment.

Where is my payment proof stored?

Receipts, source notices, and resolution details are saved in your account’s proof records for easy reference.
